Hello, I apologize for any issues you have encountered with your service or when trying to reach tech support for assistance. What now century link? Should I dip it in water with it plugged in? Maybe that could give us a boost. Oh and all lights are still operating correctly on my modem by the way, also has been restarted 4 times in the past 7 hours. This is beyond aggravating when my wife has to work from home and we have no assistance. I have been quoted and what is included on my bill is 6mbps of service yes I understand to people reading this, this in itself may seem ridiculous but this is the fastest internet I have ever had at any home (when it works) yet I am only receiving 2.3-2.6 on a good day. I have requested a new line, to no response or mysteriously the call getting disconnected, I have requested a replacement modem and have been met with similar responses. I have phoned and talked to many different people and am met with the consistent responses I stated earlier. Customer service is absolute garbage, any issue you contact them for is “oh just unplug your router” or “you’re using too much bandwidth” I have had the same devices connected with less usage than I ever have but more frequently than not I am without internet or it will connect to any device for 30 seconds or less and lose connection. My family has left them and I will be doing so shortly. I have had and dealt with century link myself and family for over 10 years. We are so happy to hear your service issues were resolved! We wore masks, our technician wore a mask and boot covers. Century Link checked in several times to make sure we still needed assistance and kept in touch with arrival time. Our tech arrived and went through everything worked on our modem, re-checked our extender device, helped us get back to our devices not talking to the printer and over all solved our issues. That said tech issues are not our strong point. My husband requested in home assistance after over the phone assistance was pretty much no help to us. Our internet kept dropping out we ordered an extender and still were having issues. We were struggling with a number of issues and felt like we needed in home help. ![]() We're here to help!
